As of Wed 29 Nov 2017, there have been a total of:
1747 laboratory-confirmed cases of MERS-CoV infection, including
706 deaths [reported case fatality rate 40.4 per cent],
1024 recoveries, and
17 currently active cases/infections.

The Equine Disease Communication Center (EDCC) reported [24 Nov 2017] that the Canadian Food Inspection Agency's (CFIA) national reference laboratory has confirmed a case of equine infectious anemia (EIA) in a horse in Havelock, Quebec.

A farm in Western Pennsylvania has been quarantined after a horse residing there tested positive for equine herpesvirus-1 (EHV-1), the Equine Disease Communication Center (EDCC) reported 27 Nov 2017.
