A whopping 704 454 cases of cholera have been registered in Yemen since [27 Apr 2017], according to the WHO. In a report released [Thu 21 Sep 2017], the WHO also said at least 2103 cholera-related deaths had been recorded in 22 out of Yemen's 23 provinces. The Salt Lake County Health Department is trying to stop an outbreak of a deadly virus that has already taken lives in California.
